Employment

Brownsburg is located in Northeast Hendricks County, 10 miles northwest of Indianapolis and 11 miles northeast of Danville, the county seat.  Adjacent to our community is I-74.

The Census 2000 tells us that we have over 55,000 people employed in the County.  Since our community has grown tremendously, this number is very low.  Our major employers in the Town of Brownsburg are The Brownsburg Community School Corporation, Wal-Mart, O'Reilly Raceway Park, Home Goods Distribution, Maplehurst Bakeries, Inc., Kroger Company, Marsh Supermarket, K-Mart and the Town of Brownsburg.
