DESCRIPTION:Safe Sitter is a medically accurate\, hands-on\, class that teachers boys and girls ages 11 to 13 how to handle emergencies when caring for children.\n\nSafe Sitters learn: what to do if a child is choking\, safety for the sitter\, how to call for emergency help\, babysitting business skills\, basic child care skills\; diapering\; feeding\, etc.\, how to entertain children and keep them safe\, preventing behavior problems\, injury prevention techniques.\n\nSpace is limited for the one-day class\, so register soon.  Students must be 11 to 13 years old by date of the class.  Students should bring a sack lunch.  The cost is $45 per student.
