Visit Hendricks County serves as the Destination Marketing Organization for Hendricks County. We market and promote the county as a desirable destination to visit as our entire budget comes from a visitor pass-through tax, meaning it rests solely on overnight stays at Hendricks County hotels.

Over the years, we have found one thing to be true. If you build a place where people want to visit, you have built a place where people want to live. If you build a place where people want to live, then you have built a place where people want to work. If you build a place where people want to work than you have built a place where employers want to locate.

But it all starts with a visit.

As a result, destination promotion remains an essential investment to develop opportunities and build quality of life to benefit all of us. A community needs destination promotion just like it needs education, health care, public safety and utilities. Our goal at Visit Hendricks County is to help our community create a quality of place that encourages visitors from outside our county to come visit our shops, restaurants and other attractions and stay overnight in on our hotels. When we accomplish that, we directly influence our county’s quality of life.
