The Third Annual Barbara Ford Blood and Bone Marrow Drive will be held Friday, November 11, 2005. The event will be located at the Hendricks County 4-H Fairgrounds Community Center in Danville from 12:00 noon to 7:00 PM. Thanks to your support over the last two years, we have been able to place several hundred on the National Marrow Donor Registry. Once you are on the registry, you never need to be tested again. The need is so critical that out of 30,000 people who urgently require a transplant, only 3,000 will be fortunate enough to find one. The most wonderful thing is we have an anonymous donor who will pay the $65.00 testing fee for those who register! It only takes a few drops of blood from the prick of your finger.
