If you like old cemeteries, join us for the fall clean up of Whitelick Cemetery located across the road from Whitelick Presbyterian Church. We need people to clean and reset old headstones. Bring shovels, small hand trowels, small soft bristle brushes and buckets. Cemetery restoration is being conducted under the guidelines of the American Gravestone Studies Association. Bring gloves and hand pruners sturdy enough to tackle the monster yucca plants and trim back other landscaping plants. For those who prefer to work indoors, research is being done in the church library to match historical records with the burial plat map. If you have information about the cemetery or early Hendricks County residents, come help put this puzzle together. Alternative weather date will be October 14th. Eat a pancake breakfast with the Presbyterian Women in Fellowship Hall beginning at 8:00 a.m.
