• Bicentennial Toolkit and More

Visit Hendricks County is very involved in our county’s year-long Bicentennial celebration.
You will find a digital toolkit at this link: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1mm5eJZU2KSo9x-SeuQmc0S8KYc6AW8lM?usp=sharing
That digital toolkit has various versions of flyers we are hoping local businesses, organizations, civic groups and even individuals and families might use to share on social media, in company e-newsletters, print and post on bulletin boards, front doors or windows of your business or even display on company televisions or even movie screens and anywhere else. We tried to make it easy through the names of the files what flyers should be used for social media, printing, etc.

The flyer encourages people to subscribe to the Bicentennial monthly newsletter. If you haven’t signed up yourself, we highly recommend it. It will provide all the latest updates on what the community needs to know. We also will draw two sets of two tickets to our exclusive, invitation-only Bicentennial Kickoff Event on March 14 at the Lizton Lodge for anyone who becomes a Bicentennial e-newsletter subscriber by Feb 29!

In addition, there are other ways you can help in 2024:

    • Create a project – As simple as planting a tree or creating a time capsule
    • Plan an event – Or add a historical element to an existing event
    • Get endorsed – Make your project or event official and receive free promotions
    • Request a yard sign – Free and a great way to spread the word
    • Become a sponsor – Opportunities both large and small available
    • Submit photos – Add to our website’s gallery
    • Simply celebrate – If nothing else, attend the many endorsed events on our website
If you apply and receive endorsement for a project or event, don't forget to share pictures and videos from your project/event with the Hendricks County Bicentennial either via our website or by email at hendricks200th@gmail.com. You can learn about all these opportunities and more at www.Hendricks200.com.
