Healthcare Provider Class

The Brownsburg Fire Territory is offering an American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Class on Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at the Station 131, 55 E. Main Street in Brownsburg. The class will begin at 6:00pm and will end around 10:00pm. The cost of the class is $40.00. This class is for people in the healthcare industry. The class covers Adult/Child CPR and Automatic External Defibrillator use, infant CPR, use of bag-valve-masks, and choking emergencies for all ages. Participants will receive a certification card good for 2 yrs upon completing the appropriate skill testing and written test. Student workbooks will be provided during the class to review. You will be practicing skills that require working on your hands and knees, bending, standing, and lifting. If you have a physical condition that may prevent these activities, please let one of the instructors know on the day of class.
