Safe Sitter Class

Description

Safe Sitter is a medically accurate, hands-on, class that teachers boys and girls ages 11 to 13 how to handle emergencies when caring for children. Safe Sitters learn: what to do if a child is choking, safety for the sitter, how to call for emergency help, babysitting business skills, basic child care skills; diapering; feeding, etc., how to entertain children and keep them safe, preventing behavior problems, injury prevention techniques. Space is limited for the one-day class, so register soon. Students must be 11 to 13 years old by date of the class. Students should bring a sack lunch. The cost is $45 per student.
